Premier League Logo Changed.

The Premier League has changed it's logo and the modification will take effect from the start of the 2016-17 season.

The division's lion icon has been the face of the English Premier League since its launch in 1992 but has undergone a some modifications to give it a fresh, modern look.

On the sponsorship front, all 20 clubs in the top division have also agreed a new centralized strategy, meaning the league will no longer have a named sponsor.

Barclays have decided to see out its existing £40m-a-year deal contract which expires at the end of the season, with a host of secondary partners set to replace them. As a result of the new developments, the division will be known simply as 'the Premier League' as of August.
